11.6 Extracting box geometry

As we’ve seen, Atomik Xport has the ability to extract a number of metadata attributes, which add information about the styling of the data on the original document page. The available attributes have been complemented by additional attributes for identifying geometric information about the boxes on the QuarkXPress page from which the content was extracted. These additional attributes are as follows:

Attribute Name  Description
boxPX  text box X co-ordinate, in points, relative to page origin
boxPY  text box Y co-ordinate, in points, relative to page origin
boxSX  text box X co-ordinate, in points, relative to spread origin
boxSY  text box Y co-ordinate, in points, relative to spread origin
boxwidth  text box width, in points
boxheight  text box height, in points
imgPX  image box X co-ordinate, in points, relative to page origin
imgPY  image box Y co-ordinate, in points, relative to page origin
imgSX  image box X co-ordinate, in points, relative to spread origin
imgSY  image box y co-ordinate, in points, relative to spread origin
imgWidth  image box width, in points
imgHeight  image box height, in points
scaleX  image horizontal scaling, as percetage of image file size
scaleY  image vertical scaling, as percentage of image file size
