In InDesign, if there is more text in a text box than the text box itself can hold, the text box is overrun, denoted by a small icon
. This is often caused by having the incorrect fonts for a document but can be an intentional way for users to hide information within the document that will not get printed because it overruns the text box.
By default Atomik Xport will only extract the content that is actually visible on the page i.e. it will ignore all overrun text. With the ‘Extract All Content’ option enabled, Atomik Xport will extract the complete contents of text boxes in InDesign, even if the text has overrun the text box.
