Review

Sarah’s Laughter is an examination of Christian faith in the context of human suffering. This book is a powerful story of belief and faith. Drawing on his unique experience as a Sri Lankan Christian Theologian, Ramachandra attempts to reconcile the existence of war, suffering, grief, death and violence with a belief in a loving God. In doing so, Ramachandra rejects simplistic answers by accepting the biblical practice of lament and wrestling with themes of doubt and unknowing.

Easypress has enjoyed working with Langham Publishing’s editorial and production teams over a number of years, creating a range of high-quality eBooks on theology and biblical studies, including Sarah’s Laughter

Perhaps Dr Ruth Padilla DeBorst from the International Fellowship of Mission as Transformation (INFEMIT) best sums up the author's work:

"Vinoth Ramachandra's writing is not for the faint of heart or mind - and that is precisely why this book is such a gift. When facing some of life's deepest pain and loss - a personal reality known to Ramachandra himself - you want a guide who is unshirkingly honest and unapologetically rigorous on existential, theological, and spiritual levels. Ramachandra delivers just this and with it offers a powerful recalibration of hope".
