Overview Atomik Xport™ is the fastest and easiest way to get content out of QuarkXPress and into valid XML. Atomik Xport Enterprise Edition contains all the functionality of the Standard Edition of Atomik Xport and supplements this with features to enable server-based, automated batch conversion of QuarkXPress documents into XML. Atomik Xport Enterprise Edition brings tighter third-party integration, enabling Atomik Xport to become an integral component of editorial, workflow and content management systems. AppleScriptable AppleScript (www.apple.com/applescript) is an easy-to-use, approachable, English-like language that can control nearly everything a Macintosh computer can do and any applications with AppleScript support. QuarkXPress itself already includes extensive AppleScript support. Atomik Xport DE makes its main features available for AppleScripting too. Therefore AppleScript can be used to automate and integrate both Atomik Xport DE and QuarkXPress with other systems and workflows, as with AutoPilot, removing the need for user intervention in the process. XTension to XTension Call Interface This interface exposes a group of Atomik Xport EE functions to other QuarkXPress XTensions. It enables any QuarkXPress XTensions developer to potentially access Atomik Xport EE functionality within their own XTensions software. In this way system integrators and developers can integrate Atomik Xport EE more closely within an automated workflow, content management, asset management or other third party system. Built-in hot folder monitoring Using Atomik Xport EE enables completely automated extraction of XML from QuarkXPress documents without any user intervention. This works on a hierarchical folder structure, monitoring any new incoming QuarkXPress documents and processing them accordingly. |
