This negates the need for using ‘cut and paste’ to transfer content between QuarkXPress and files for use in digital media. Atomik XML Publisher incorporates unique technology to allow you to create and dynamically lay out QuarkXPress documents from pre-existing XML (a process that we call ‘importing XML’) and also has software to extract XML from laid-out QuarkXPress documents (what we call ‘exporting XML’). The Atomik XML Publisher suite is for anyone who uses QuarkXPress for print production who would like to integrate their digital and print workflows using XML. It allows publishers to re-purpose content from print publications for use in electronic publishing, and vice versa. This allows publishing between QuarkXPress and your website, content database, mobile phone, or PDA. Atomik XML Publisher is XTensions software. XTensions bolt on to the main QuarkXPress application enabling users to extend the functionality of the base QuarkXPress application, providing new and exciting features. |
